Every plan

AI visibility

Shows whether AI tools may read your website, and on higher plans what Claude says about your business and how you compare with competitors.

Who it's for

The free score runs a quick check of your homepage. The Audit plan runs the full check in every audit. Growth adds the answer checks, where Claude is asked about your service. Managed adds a weekly comparison with the competitors you watch.

How to use it

  1. Open the AI visibility section. Open your audit and go to "AI visibility (by EchoRank)." It holds checks V1 to V10. EchoRank360, our sister product, runs some of them.

  1. See which AI tools may read your site. The list shows each AI reader, such as GPTBot or ClaudeBot, as open or blocked. This comes from your robots.txt (a small file that tells bots what they may read). V6 checks that your homepage text is there without extra scripts.

  1. Read the answer checks (Growth and Managed). EchoPilot asks Claude three questions built from your main service and your city. V2 shows whether Claude named you, with a short quote of each answer and the date. V3 checks that Claude describes your name, city and service correctly.

  1. Add an llms.txt file. V1 looks for llms.txt, a plain text file at your site's root that sums up your site for AI tools. If it is missing, the Fix column links to a guide.

  1. Compare with competitors (Managed). Open Research, then Competitors. After each Monday run, a table shows your AI visibility score next to each competitor's, and how many AI readers each site blocks.

What you'll see

Each check shows pass, partial, fail or not assessable (it couldn't be checked), with its proof. The whole category is a small part of your overall score. If EchoRank360 can't be reached, or your monthly allowance for these checks is used up, the checks are marked not assessable (they couldn't run) and left out of your score. They are never counted as a fail.

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't predict or promise what any AI will say about you.
  • The answer checks ask Claude only. No other AI assistant is asked.
  • One answer is one reading on one day. AI answers change, so watch the trend across audits.
  • On the Audit plan, V2 and V3 don't run and are left out of your score.
  • The competitor table shows what AI readers may fetch on each homepage, not what an AI answers.
