Growth and up
Market report and channel fit
Explains which social channels your drafts are written for and why, and on Managed sums up your competitors' month in one report.
Who it's for
Channel fit is on the Growth and Managed plans. It picks the channels your monthly drafts are written for. The monthly market report is on Managed only, for owners who watch competitors.
How to use it
- See your channels. Open Drafts, then Social drafts. The Channels box lists each chosen channel with one line on why it was picked. Growth gets 2 channels and Managed gets 4.

- Know how channels are picked. The choice follows a fixed table, not AI. It starts from your kind of business. A restaurant gets Instagram and Facebook, and a B2B firm (one that sells to other businesses) gets LinkedIn and Facebook. Social profiles your audit found come next. If L12 fails, meaning you don't show in Google's local map results, Google Business moves to the front (except for B2B). X is not picked.

- Find the market report (Managed). Open More, then Research. The monthly market report arrives on the first Monday of each month. It covers the month before.

- Read the report. A table shows each competitor's month: readings taken, homepage changes, pricing changes, posts dated that month and rating history. Below it, a few points explain the patterns and why they may matter to you.

- Check the sources. Every point links to the saved reading it is based on. Use Download PDF to keep a copy.

What you'll see
Channels are picked again each month, when that month's drafts are written. Your latest audit feeds the choice. The market report can also cite the weekly AI visibility comparison with your competitors. You get an email when it is ready, and a Telegram message if you linked a chat. You can turn these off under Notifications. The report stays listed under Research either way.

What it doesn't do
- There is no setting to swap a channel by hand.
- TikTok can be picked for some businesses, but drafts are written only for post channels, so its place stays empty.
- The report only explains facts EchoPilot recorded. A point that can't be traced to a saved reading is removed before you see it.
- It doesn't use Google reviews or ratings. Ratings come from a separate data source and are labelled.
- Neither feature promises more customers or sales.
