Google Business Profile
Connect your Google Business Profile so the audit can score the owner-side checks, and approve Google Business updates to post.
Who it's for
Anyone signed in can connect a Google Business Profile, on any plan. Google Business update drafts come with the Managed plan, at 4 a month.
How to use it
- Open Connections. Click Connections in the left menu. The first row of "What each connection adds" is Google Business Profile, with its status.

- Connect your profile. In the Google Business Profile card, click Connect Google Business Profile. Sign in with the Google account that manages your profile. Google says the access lets us "manage" it, because that is the only option Google offers. We only read your profile. If the card says the connection opens in December, there is no button yet. Bring your reviews in with the extension or a file until then.

- See what it adds. Click "See the checks this unlocks" in the card. It lists the checks only an owner can answer, like verification (L1), recent posts (L5), services (L7), questions and answers (L11), and how often and how fast you reply to reviews (R4, R5).

- Wait for Google if you need to. Your card may say "Waiting on Google". This means Google hasn't turned on access for EchoPilot yet. Your connection is saved, and the checks start on their own once Google does. You don't need to reconnect.

- Approve Google Business updates. On Managed, update drafts appear on Drafts. Approve the ones you like. Then open your listing as the owner, click the EchoPilot button and click Fill update. Read it and click Post in Google yourself.

What you'll see
Once connected, the card shows the Google account, the location we audit and when we last checked. If your account has several locations, choose the one to audit. These checks are scored from your next audit. Until then they stay not assessable, which means we could not check them, so they never count as failed.

What it doesn't do
- It never writes to your profile. It only reads what the checks need.
- It does not post updates or replies for you. The extension fills Google's box, and you click Post.
- Review checks (R3, R4, R5, R9) can also use reviews you import, so you don't have to wait for Google.
- Disconnecting removes our access at once. The checks that need it go back to not assessable, which means not checked.
