Audit and up

Run an audit

EchoPilot checks your website, listings and reviews once a month, and you can run extra audits after you fix something.

Who it's for

Audits come with every paid plan: Audit, Growth and Managed. Run an extra one when you want a fresh score, for example after you fix something on your website. Without a plan, the Dashboard shows See the plans instead of the button.

How to use it

  1. Press Run audit now. Go to your Dashboard. Before your first audit, the button sits in the middle of the top card. After that, it sits under your score.

  1. Let it run, then read the results. A page shows each step as EchoPilot checks your website, your Google listing, page speed, search results and social profiles. It also shows about how long is left. Most audits take a few minutes. You can leave the page. We email you when the results are ready, and they open on this page.

  1. Check what you have left. The line under the buttons shows the date of your next scheduled audit. It also shows how many extra audits you have left this month.

What you'll see

Once a month, on the day your plan renews, EchoPilot runs your scheduled audit by itself. Then it writes your 90-day plan, which we call a memo, and emails it to you.

Each plan includes these audits each month:

  • Audit: 1 scheduled and 1 extra.
  • Growth: 1 scheduled and 2 extra.
  • Managed: 1 scheduled and 30 extra.

You can run one extra audit every 24 hours. When an extra audit finishes, you get an email with your score. To get a memo for it, press Generate memo on your Dashboard. That doesn't use up an extra audit.

Some checks may end as "not assessable" (we couldn't look at them, for example because your Google Business Profile isn't connected). They are left out of your score. They never count as a fail.

If something on our side stops an audit, the page says "This audit didn't finish". If an audit still hasn't started after 30 minutes, the page says "This audit hasn't started". Both pages have a button to run it again. That audit doesn't count as one of your extra audits, so the button works right away. Your earlier results stay the same.

What it doesn't do

  • It won't start a second extra audit within 24 hours. The button is turned off, and the line under it says when you can run the next one.
  • An extra audit doesn't write a memo by itself. Press Generate memo for that.
  • Scheduled audits stop while your plan is paused.
  • An audit only looks. It doesn't change your website or listings, and it can't promise more visits or sales.
