Post approved drafts for you

Connect a Facebook Page or LinkedIn, and EchoPilot posts the drafts you approve for that channel at their scheduled time.

Who it's for

Posting for you is part of the Managed plan. It is for owners who want approved posts to go out on their Facebook Page or LinkedIn without copying them by hand. On Growth, you copy or download approved drafts and post them yourself.

How to use it

  1. Open Connections. Click Connections in the left menu and scroll to Publishing channels. There is one card for a Facebook Page and one for LinkedIn.

  1. Connect your account. Click Connect Facebook Page or Connect LinkedIn. The connection runs through Zernio, the company we use to post. Facebook asks you to approve "Social Media Connector", the app Zernio uses. Choose "current Pages only" and tick just the Page you want us to post to.

  1. Approve your drafts. On Drafts, approve the Facebook and LinkedIn posts you want. Each one is then set to go out on its suggested date at 10:00 in your business's time zone.

  1. Change the time or cancel. Open Social drafts to see each post's time. Pick a new date and time and click Change time. You can move it to any time before the month ends. Or click Cancel scheduling, and the draft stays approved for you to copy or download. You can do this until the post goes out.

What you'll see

On Social drafts, each Facebook or LinkedIn draft shows where it stands. It can be scheduled, with its time and account. It can be posted, with a link to the post. It can be failed, with the reason. Or it can be manual, which means no account is connected for that channel. Before we hand a post over for posting, we check it again. If something is wrong, it is not posted. It stays approved for you to copy, and you get one email that says why.

What it doesn't do

  • It never posts a draft you did not approve. If you edit or reject a scheduled post, it is taken off the schedule.
  • It does not post Google Business updates or review replies. You post those on Google yourself, with the browser extension.
  • It does not post to Instagram, X or TikTok. Copy or download those drafts.
  • During a free trial, nothing is scheduled. Posting opens with your first paid invoice.
  • If Connections says posting is switched off right now, approved drafts are yours to copy or download until it is back.
