Your next moves

What the list on your dashboard is, where each item comes from, what the labels mean, and what Done and Dismiss do.

Updated

Your dashboard shows a short list called Your next moves. This page explains what is on it and why.

Your next moves

These are the few things worth doing next, in order. They come from your latest audit and your 90-day plan, which we call a memo. Start at the top.

The list shows up to three things at a time. When you finish one, the next one moves up.

This week's quick win

Each week, EchoPilot picks one small step from your memo. Most take under an hour.

We email it to you on Tuesday from 9 AM, in your business's time zone. Before that, the card shows the step we plan to send.

  • Done: marks the step as finished in your memo.
  • Skip this week: sets it aside. We won't pick it again for 8 weeks.
  • Open the memo: shows your full 90-day plan.

Where the items come from

The list fills up in this order until it is full:

  1. Open steps from your memo, in the memo's order. This week's quick win isn't shown twice.
  2. No memo yet for your latest audit? You see Generate your 90-day memo. Press it and EchoPilot writes it for you. It doesn't use up any of your audits.
  3. If your memo is still being written or checked by our team, a note says so.
  4. Basic checks that hold your score back. Your score stops at 40 until they pass.
  5. Your Google Business Profile, when it needs you to connect it or sign in again.
  6. Failed checks, grouped by area, for example “Technical SEO: 3 checks failed”. The area with the most important problem comes first. Each line names the check to start with.

Critical, high, medium, low

The label shows how much a fix matters:

  • Critical: fix this first. Other things depend on it.
  • High: important. Plan it soon.
  • Medium: worth doing when you can.
  • Low: a small thing. Do it when you have time.

Codes like S9 or C3 are just a check's short name. The letter is the area and the number is the check.

All 92 checks are listed on the checks page, with what each one looks at.

Done and Dismiss

  • Done: you fixed it. It leaves this list.
  • Dismiss: it doesn't apply to you, or you chose not to do it. It leaves this list too.

Changed your mind? Open the memo and press Reopen.

Your next audit checks everything again. If a step you marked done still fails, it comes back in your next memo. A dismissed step only comes back with a different way to fix it.

What it is not

This list is about fixing the things EchoPilot checks: your website, your listings, your reviews and your profiles.

It doesn't promise a better place on Google, more visits or more sales. Nobody can promise that honestly.
